Privacy Policy

The Samaritan Community app ("the App") provides content about the Samaritan community in Israel — books, poetry, music, interviews, historical photos, and a calendar. This policy explains what data is collected and why.

Data we collect

• Anonymous analytics via Firebase Analytics, to understand which screens are used. No personal identifiers are collected.
• Contact form messages — if you send a message through the in-app form, your name, email, optional phone, and message body are sent to the community team.
• Push notification tokens (FCM) — an anonymous identifier that lets us send you push notifications about new content. You can disable this anytime in phone settings.

What we don't collect

• No location, contacts, photo gallery, or any device data is collected.
• No data is shared with third-party advertisers.
• No ads in the app.

Services we use

• Google Firebase — for content hosting, notifications, and analytics. Firebase privacy policy.
• EmailJS — to send contact-form messages to the community email. EmailJS privacy policy.

Your rights

You may request deletion of any message you sent via the contact form. Contact us via the same form or at the email below.

Security

Data is stored on Google Firebase servers with encryption in transit and at rest. We do not store passwords.

If we make material changes, we'll update this page. The last-updated date is at the top.
